HC Ajoie would like to keep Anttoni Honka

"Of course, discussions have already begun. Everyone can see what he brings to the team [...]," Julien Vauclair, team manager of HC Ajoie, said. "It won’t be easy to compete with other clubs, but we want to keep him. And I’m convinced it’s possible, because he really appreciates the environment here."

Honka has been with HC Ajoie since the 2024-25 season and recorded nine goals and 27 assists in 51 regular-season games for the Ajoulots last season. Vauclair was, however, not only asked about Honka but also about Killian Mottet. 

Mottet still has a year left on his contract with HC Fribourg-Gottéron, but will not play for the team this season. He spent the last season with HC Ajoie. However, according to Vauclair, he is not currently an option, but adds that he is not entirely closing the door on his return: "We know how things go; they can change very quickly."
