Frédérik Gauthier returned to HC Ajoie as an injury replacement at the beginning of September with a deal valid until mid-November. Now, he will stay in Porrentruy for the remainder of the season. The Ajoulots will thus continue to have eight imports under contract.
Gauthier, 30, is in his second stint with HC Ajoie, after suiting up for them from 2022 to 2024. This season, he scored three goals and put up three assists in 18 games.
