The forward's contract was valid until yesterday, it includes an option for extension though. Adding someone else is also a possibility for the Grenats.

Dmytro Timashov joined Genève-Servette HC on a short-term contract in January, valid until February 2. "We will assess the situation and decide on Monday whether to keep him or not", Marc Gautschi stated to "Le Matin" yesterday. "Adding an extra element also remains an option." The team manager notes that they are looking for players with speed and size. "We are not going to find Sydney Crosby's twin on the market in February", he jokes.

Timashov, for his part, has suited up 14 times for the Grenats so far, recording three assists. "He is not up to last year's level. He is obviously lacking a bit of rhythm. He also lacks luck, because he still manages to create a few chances", Gautschi comments on his Swede's performance.
