GSHC adds Stefan Hedlund to coaching staff, extends with Yorick Treille

To guide them in this new project as their new head coach, the Eagles chose to extend their trust in Yorick Treille, the current ad-interim head coach since Jan Cadieux's departure.

To assist the Frenchman, Genève-Servette HC signed Stefan Hedlund to a contract effective immediately. The Swede was without a job since he was fired from the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers a few weeks ago. He was rumored to be a person of interest in HC Lugano's search for a new head coach but evidently, he will not join the Bianconeri.

The other ad-interim head coach, Rikard Franzén, will complete the coaching staff until the end of the current season but it does not look like he will stay further.
