Last week, "La Liberté" reported that HC Fribourg-Gottéron would soon announce a seventh import player. That turned out to be quite true, as earlier today, the Dragons informed about the signing of Linden Vey. Coming over from the KHL, the Canadian reinforces for the remainder of the season.
"It is a great pleasure that we were able to sign a player in top form in the middle of the season", team manager Gerd Zenhöusern notes. "Linden Vey is an experienced center who makes a valuable contribution both offensively and defensively. With seven foreigners now under contract, the competition within the team is increasing."
So far this autumn, Vey has put up seven goals and twelve assists in 20 games for Omsk. It will not be his first rodeo in Switzerland, he suited up for the ZSC Lions during parts of the 2017-18 season.
