As the ZSC Lions announced earlier today, both Juho Lammikko and Jesper Frödén have agreed to contract extensions. The former is sticking around until 2028, the latter until 2027.

Lammikko joined the Lions in 2022 from the Vancouver Canucks. He has suited up 139 times for them so far in the National League, recording 48 goals and 54 assists.

"Juho is a fighter you can count on in crunch time", team manager Sven Leuenberger states regarding the Finn. "His physicality, offensive, and defensive qualities make him very valuable to us as a center."

Frödén came over from the Seattle Kraken's organization in 2023. Since joining Zurich, he has made 84 games in the National League and put up 30 goals and 34 assists.

"Jesper was one of our best scorers last season and, with 22 goals, the player with the most goals during the qualification", Leuenberger comments the Swede's extension. "He can be used in all situations and with his two-way qualities, he wonderfully embodies our philosophy."
