Kevin Bozon and Thibault Frossard remain on board, Bastien Pouilly has his option activated, and Petteri Nummelin keeps his assistant position.

Third team is the charm - after being sent from EHC Biel to SC Bern in December and then let go by the Bears last week, Elvis Schläpfer has now signed with HC Ajoie. His contract is valid for the 2025-26 season. It will be the seventh season of at least some National League action for the 24-year-old forward. This past one, he played 53 games, recording two goals and one assist.

Besides the new addition, Ajoie also announced extensions with forwards Kevin Bozon (one season) and Thibault Frossard (two seasons). The former has been with the team since 2022, the latter for his whole career. Defenseman Bastien Pouilly will also stick around for another year, in his case due to the activated option included in his contract.

Behind the bench, there is some continuity as well. After extending with head coach Greg Ireland a month ago, assistant Petteri Nummelin is also staying on board until 2027.
