The 26-year-old defenseman has agreed to a three-year deal with the Bulls, valid until the end of the 2027-28 season.
HC Lugano and Genève-Servette HC were among the teams interested in Elia Riva, as "Blick" reported in October. The defender decided, however, to stay with his current team. He is currently dealing with an upper-body injury but should soon be able to make his comeback.
Elia Riva is in his second season with EV Zug. The defenseman has played 15 games for the National League team this season, recording five goals and five assists.
