After missing most of last season due to an injury, this year Jérémie Bärtschi is building up his condition, leading the club to confirm their own belief that he has potential for development. For this reason, they offered him a one-year contract extension.
This season so far, Bärtschi appeared in 23 games for EHC Biel, recording two assists while averaging 9:18 minutes on the ice per game.
