Last summer, after one season with HC Ajoie, Dmytro Timashov set out to join HC Sochi. Two weeks ago, the KHL representative announced that the club and player had terminated their contract by mutual agreement. As anticipated by "Radio Lac", Timashov's next station will be Genève-Servette HC, albeit only until February 2. However, his contract includes an option for the remainder of the season.

In his season with Ajoie, the 28-year-old suited up 35 times, recording nine goals and eleven assists. As part of Sochi, he put up one goal and three assists in 22 games.
