Returning from North America, the netminder will have a new employer in the National League.

It has been known for a while that Ludovic Waeber was going to return to Switzerland. Still being under contract with the ZSC Lions, he would have had to rejoin them. However, said contract has now been terminated, and the netminder has found a new team - EHC Kloten. With them, Waeber has signed a two-year deal.

"EHC Kloten made a great effort to recruit me and I felt a lot of trust from the very beginning", the 27-year-old is cited on his new employer's website. "That is why the move is exactly the right step for me. I am convinced that I can help the team take a step forward with my abilities."

Waeber spent the last season in North America, making 19 appearances in the AHL and one in the ECHL. Before his stint overseas, he suited up 134 times for HC Fribourg-Gottéron and the Lions.
