Confirmed - Vinzenz Rohrer joins EV Zug on a loan

After spending the past season on loan to the ZSC Lions, this year Vinzenz Rohrer will suit up again in the National League, but this time with EV Zug. Rohrer has a contract with the Habs valid until 2028, and he can be recalled to North America at any time.

Rohrer is looking forward to this new adventure: "The role I’ve been given in Zug is perfect for my development as an athlete and as a person. The facilities are top-notch, and I’ve felt the trust of the EVZ management and the coaching staff ever since we first got in touch."

For his part, team manager Ted Suihkonen believes that Rohrer can play an important role for them: "He has an excellent understanding of hockey and a tireless drive to keep improving. We’re very excited to welcome him to Zug.”

Rohrer appeared in 41 regular-season games for the ZSC Lions last season, recording four goals and eight assists. Moreover, he scored one goal in nine playoff games and collected three points in six AHL games with the Laval Rocket.
