Christof von Burg finally made his National League debut this autumn after over a year as a member of SC Bern. His contract would have run out at the end of the season. As Blick wrote earlier today, there seems to have been interest in the goaltender from EHC Biel's side, but in the end, the 25-year-old has agreed to a three-year contract exension with the Bears. His new deal is valid until 2030.
In his two games for Bern so far, von Burg posted a.906 save percentage and allowed an average of 2.55 goals against.
