Changes in EHC Kloten's coaching staff as well as their roster

Tim Bertsche, who has been EHC Kloten's goaltending and video coach for the past five seasons, will take on a new challenge with a different team. The "Berner Zeitung" reported a while ago that SC Bern was close to agreeing to terms with Bertsche.

As anticipated by the "Neue Zürcher Zeitung", Benjamin Winkler will also not stay with the team, as he has not been offered a new contract. He has been with Kloten since 2024.

Kimmo Rintanen will also have to look for a new job. His contract had also not been extended. He has been part of EHC Kloten's coaching staff since 2021. He had, however, already coached for the team a decade earlier.

In a story posted on Instagram and Facebook, the team also announced that they would bid farewell to Lukáš Klok, Robert Leino, Tyler Morley, and Deniss Smirnovs at their season-end party.
