National League

While the defenseman stays in Switzerland, fellow NHL-draftee Christian Kirsch will leave the organization for the USHL.

EV Zug saw two of their prospects picked in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft. One of them is being loaned back to the National League team for the coming season, the other one is leaving for North America.

Defenseman Leon Muggli, picked 52nd overall by the Washington Capitals, will stay with Zug. He signed a three-year entry-level contract with the NHL organization in July, but it was decided that he would spend the season with his youth team.

Goaltender Christian Kirsch,  selected 116th overall by the San Jose Sharks, is headed overseas. First, he will join the USHL's Green Bay Gamblers for the coming season, before becoming part of the NCAA's University of Massachusetts next summer.
