As part of the Euro Hockey Tour, team Switzerland faces the current world champion, the Czech Republic, along with Sweden and Finland.
The squad is headlined by Giancarlo Chanton and Nicolas Baechler, both of them are called up for the first time.
The coaching team will be reinforced by Steve Hirschi (SCL Tigers) and Marco Bayer (GCK Lions). Tommy Albelin will not take part in the EHT tournaments and will return to the bench at the World Championship - if the New York Islanders are out of the championship then. Rikard Franzén will thus take over Albelin's duties as an assistant coach for the U20 team come Christmas.
