Waltteri Merelä and Vili Saarijärvi called up by Finland

Both their respective teams eliminated in the quarterfinal, the SCL Tigers' Vili Saarijärvi (future member of Genève-Servette HC) and SC Bern's Waltteri Merelä will continue their season with Finland's national team instead.

HC Lugano's Jesper Peltonen, however, seems to have been cut from the Finnish selection. He did get to make his debut for his country in a preparation game versus Latvia.
