The 2025 IIHF World Championship is coming closer and closer, and, as every year, there are preparation games on the schedule. This spring, the Swiss national team is playing six of those, in addition to the Czech edition of the Euro Hockey Tour, the Betano Hockey Games (which takes place at the start of May).

On April 10 and 11, Switzerland will face Slovakia twice in Herisau, travel to Marseilles to play against France on April 18 and 19, and then head northwards to Riga for two games against Latvia on April 24 and 25. In between the trips, the national team will be based in Kloten.

As for the Betano Hockey Games, Patrick Fischer's squad will play against Sweden on May 1, somewhere in Switzerland, before heading to Brünn for a game against Finland (May 3) and host Czechia (May 4).
