HC Franches-Montagnes has acquired Jayson Ren as an injury replacement for HC Ajoie's Jérémy Chèvre. The forward suffered a shoulder injury and is expected to be out for at least two months. Ren's contract is now valid until the end of the season.
Ren is originally a prospect of Lausanne HC and joined EHC Arosa this season, having spent the last year playing for Kitzbühler EC. He suited up in 23 games for the Bündner, recording two goals and three assists.
In other news, their goaltender Hugo Cerviño suffered a muscle tear, resulting in a minimum of three weeks' unavailability. The MyHockey League team will be able to count on HC Fribourg-Gottéron's Ludovic Hauser in the meantime. The goaltender has already suited up for them this season.
