The Arosa Ice Classics shall not stand in the way of a possible promotion to the Swiss League, the SIHF's appeals instance decided.

swisshockeynews.ch

In recent days and weeks, there has been a public conflict involving EHC Arosa and the SIHF regarding a possible promotion of the MyHockey League team. Arosa's recent appeal against the licensing commission's decision of not granting their promotion request due to disagreements about the Arosa Ice Classics has been accepted.

With an updated promotion agreement in hand and a spot in the MyHockey League semifinal secured - which was the sports-side requirement - all that now stands in the way of a Swiss League promotion for Arosa is their financial situation. They have to submit their yearly report to the licensing commission by July 15 before a final decision can be made.
