Following Kessler's resignation: SIHF begins transition period

The Swiss Ice Hockey Federation needs a new president after Urs Kessler announced his immediate resignation the day after the World Championship final loss. According to the SIHF, Vice President Marc-Anthony Anner will temporarily lead the board meetings and represent the SIHF at selected events as his schedule permits.

Anner will be supported in this role by the other board members, as well as the relevant committees in their respective areas of responsibility. This arrangement will remain in effect until a new president is elected at a general assembly.
