The 27-year-old goaltender has agreed to a two-year contract with Linköping HC.
"Blick" reported last week that the goaltender, at the end of his contract with Tappara Tampere, might be a contender for EHC Kloten's vacant number-one spot. The Swiss team will, however, have to search for a different solution now.
Christian Heljanko is a product of HIFK's organization and has only ever played in Finland. Last season, the goaltender appeared in 50 games for Tappara Tampere, posting a .916 save percentage
