The 29-year-old defenseman has yet to sign a new contract for the 2026-27 season. According to "Expressen" (relayed by "Hockeysverige.se"), that might, however, soon change.

As the Swedish news outlet reports, Rögle BK and Ludvig Claesson are supposedly close to agreeing to a deal. Claesson would thus return to Rögle after having spent one season in Finland and Switzerland.
Cleasson joined HC Davos in mid-February, but played in only one game for the National League team. Before joining HCD, he suited up for Vaasan Sport, recording one goal and nine assists in 43 regular-season games.
