After his departure from the SCL Tigers, the 37-year-old is apparently returning to his youth club.

As the Finnish newspaper "Ilta-Sanomat" reports, Harri Pesonen is headed back to his youth club, JYP Jyväskylä. He is apparently signing a two-year deal with them. Pesonen went through various junior levels at JYP and played for their main squad from 2007 to 2012.

After leaving in 2012, he first played in North America for two seasons. Following that, except for one year in the KHL, he only played in Switzerland, namely for Lausanne HC and the SCL Tigers.

In Langnau, where he served as captain from 2022, he played 45 games this past season, recording 28 points (14 goals).
