The 26-year-old defenseman has agreed to terms with JYP and will play in the Liiga next season.

Juuso Arola joined HC Fribourg-Gottéron in late February. He played in one regular-season game for the team and appeared in eight games for the Dragons during their playoff run. (five assists).
Before ending the season with Gottéron, Arola had only ever played in Finland. He will thus return to his home for the 2026-27 season.
