As anticipated by "Iltalehti"'s podcast "Lätkäpodi", the 32-year-old defenseman has agreed to terms with TPS.

Niklas Friman has signed a two-year contract with the Liiga team. “I’m really looking forward to what’s ahead, and the vibe is really good. It’s great to be back in Turku—this is where my hockey career began, and that means a lot to me," the defenseman said.
This season, he recorded one goal and two assists in 31 regular-season games for HC Ajoie. It had been his first season playing in Switzerland.
