It has been clear since December that the goaltender would not add another season in Kloten.
Juha Metsola has signed a two-year contract with the Liiga team. He used to play for them from 2011 to 2015. Klaus Zaugg ("Watson") reported at the end of November that the goaltender would be playing for Tappara Tampere next season.
Metsola played two seasons for EHC Kloten. This season, he appeared in 38 games for them, posting a .901 save percentage.
