The 27-year-old defenseman has agreed to terms with the Pioneers Vorarlberg and will play for them in the 2024-25 season.
Ramón Schnetzer played most of his professional career in Austria and will return to the ICEHL after a one-year stint in the Swiss League with HC Thurgau.
Schnetzer appeared in 44 regular-season games for HC Thurgau, recording one goal and eight assists. He also suited up in six playoff games (one assist).
