HC Thurgau announced last week that the 29-year-old forward would not return to them next season.

Instead, Hunter Garlent will go back to Germany, where he played his first season in Europe in 2021, albeit for a different team. Garlent will suit up for the EC Kassel Huskies next season.

Garlent suited up in 45 games for HC Thurgau (16 goals, 24 assists) and two games for EHC Kloten (one goal).
