The Löwen Frankfurt have announced the signing of Jakob Lilja. He joins the DEL-team on a deal valid for the coming season. Formerly a member of HC Fribourg-Gottéron and HC Ambrì-Piotta, the forward thus leaves Switzerland again after two years.

Frankfurt will be Lilja's first time playing in Germany. Aside from his home country, Sweden, he has previously played in the US, Kazakhstan, Russia, and, as mentioned above, Switzerland.

During his National League stint, Lilja made 107 games, recording 23 goals and 28 assists.
