A crosscheck to an opponent's head has led to supplementary disciplinary action against the forward.
EHC Basel
In the last minute of Act 5 of the quarterfinal series between EHC Basel and the GCK Lions, the home team's Juley Sturny cross-checked Marlon Graf to the head. Penalized with a five-minute major and a misconduct on the ice, further proceedings were initiated against the forward. These resulted in a three-game suspension plus a fine of CHF 1,700.-.
