The disciplinary department of the league has initiated proceedings against the forward for checking an opponent to the head.
HC Sierre
Tyler Higgins will miss at least the next two games of HC Sierre due to the disciplinary sanction inflicted by the league following a check to the head. The incriminated incident occurred halfway through yesterday's game against EHC Winterthur. On the occasion, the officials gave Higgins a major and a game misconduct penalty.
