Tristan Scherwey has been issued a two-game suspension for violating IIHF Rule 39/40 ("Abuse of Officials"). He went up to referee Martin Hebeisen after the handshake of the teams and said: "I will find you in the city, I will find you. You were already close at the Zibelemärit [onion market]."
The statement was classified as a threat and is thus punishable under category 1 of IIHF Rule 39/40. Scherwey has already sat out one game and will thus also miss tomorrow's game.
