A hit to Rafael Meier's head/neck area has further disciplinary consequences for the defenseman.

In yesterday's Act 3 of the quarterfinal series between the ZSC Lions and EHC Kloten, the home team's Christian Marti checked Rafael Meier to the head/neck. Penalized with a five-minute major and a misconduct on the ice, the defenseman is now also facing proceedings and has been provisionally suspended for one game.
