HCFG's Patrik Nemeth suspended, no additional ban for GSHC's Ignatavicius

The league has initiated proceedings against Patrik Nemeth following an action against Jonas Taibel in Game 6 of the quarterfinal series between HC Fribourg-Gottéron and the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers. The incident occurred in the 55th minute of the game, and Nemeth received a major and game misconduct penalty on the occasion. Nemeth will thus miss at least the decisive Game 7 tomorrow.

As for Simas Ignatavicius, the young forward of Genève-Servette HC, who was provisionally suspended for one game due to slew-footing, will not receive any additional suspension and will thus skip only today's game against Lausanne HC.
