The Czech forward has been found guilty of slew-footing an opponent during the game on November 1 against the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers.
For their road game against HC Fribourg-Gottéron on Friday, HC Davos will have to travel without their leading scorer (and of the entire National League). In addition to the one-game suspension for slew-footing, Matěj Stránský will have to pay a fine of CHF 2550. The suspension comes as this was the second game misconduct penalty of the season for the Czech.
