The league's disciplinary department has initiated proceedings against the forward of EHC Basel.

Laurin Liniger has to sit out today's game against HC La Chaux-de-Fonds due to a provisional one-game suspension following a check to the head of an opponent during the game against the GCK Lions last Friday. Depending on the outcome of the investigation, the young forward of EHC Basel might have to miss more games.
Liniger, 21, is in his second season with EHC Basel. In 18 games so far, he scored three goals and recorded eight assists.
