The 21-year-old forward will have to pay a fine of CHF 400 for an incident that occurred on January 16.
Laurin Liniger has been fined for feigning a foul in the game between EHC Basel and EHC Olten which took place last Tuesday.
Liniger, who is currently in his first season with EHC Basel, has appeared in 25 regular-season games for the Swiss League team, recording four goals and four assists.
