EHC Basel Anthony Rouiller provisionally suspended

EHC Basel will have to make do without the 30-year-old defenseman for tonight's Game of the playoff quarterfinal series against EHC Visp.

Anthony Rouiller has been provisionally suspended for crosschecking EHC Visp's Fadri Riatsch in the 40th minute of play of Game 5 between the two Swiss League teams. 

Furthermore, proceedings have been initiated against him. He might thus miss more than one game. EHC Basel and EHC Visp will face each other tonight at 17:45 for Game 6. EHC Visp leads the series 3-2.
