The forward suffered a fracture in one of his feet during a practice session with his new team.
HC Davos' preseason begins this evening with the derby against EHC Chur, but not for Tino Kessler. The 28-year-old forward will undergo foot surgery today and will be sidelined for at least three months. This means that Kessler might have to wait until after the international break in November to make his comeback for HC Davos in an official game. Kessler returned this summer to his formative club after four seasons with EHC Biel.
