Philipp Kurashev is dealing with a hand injury. At the same time, the Hawks have recalled defenseman Louis Crevier from their AHL affiliate, the Rockford IceHogs.
Kurashev has recorded ten points (six goals, four assists) in 42 games with Chicago this season.
