The 26-year-old forward sustained an upper-body injury in Saturday's game between the San Jose Sharks and the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The Sharks have now placed him on injured reserve, which means that he will at least miss the next couple of games. An exact timeline of his return has not been provided.
