ZSC's Christian Marti was injured last night

The ZSC Lions had to make do without Christian Marti as of the 13th minute of play of the game against EHC Biel. The national team player took a shot by the Seelanders' Petr Cajka to his face and was unable to return afterwards. 

"His nose was affected," Marco Bayer, head coach of the ZSC Lions, said last night. "He was brought to the Inselspital, but we do not have further information." He is now listed as day-to-day on the Lions' website.

Topscorer Denis Malgin also missed last night's game, but not due to injury; he was ill. However, he was back in the lineup for tonight's game against EV Zug.
