According to the "Luzerner Zeitung", the 30-year-old defenseman left the game in the second period and did not return.
"It did not look good," Dan Tangnes, head coach of EV Zug, told the newspaper after the game. "He will likely be out for the remainder of the season."
Niklas Hansson will thus be added to the injury list. As for Dominik Schlumpf and Mike Künzle, they were not able to make their comeback in Game 2 aginst HC Davos, but they might return for the next game.
